About

A Coeur d'Alene institution since 1978, opened as the Ground Round and renamed through a customer contest after a trademark dispute with the national chain. Hand-pressed gourmet burgers, oversized omelettes, homemade fries and frosted 32-ounce schooners, served in a room papered floor to ceiling with the Nosworthy family's sports memorabilia and autographed photos of local athletes. Portions are famously large and the meeting room seats 30 for free.
