Frequently Asked Questions

Answers for diners and for business owners.

🍽 For Diners

Is Inland Table free to use?

Yes, completely free for anyone browsing restaurants, local food producers, farmer's markets, and events.

How do you decide which restaurants to include?

We focus on independent, locally-owned businesses but are working on adding all restaurants in the Spokane Metro.

Can I suggest a restaurant that's missing?

Yes β€” send us the name and neighborhood on our Contact page and we'll add it to the queue.

Do you offer reviews?

Currently, only beta testers can add restaurant reviews.

πŸͺ For Business Owners

Who can claim a listing?

Restaurant owners and local food producers β€” coffee roasters, breweries, wineries, farms, and specialty food makers. Claiming covers your whole brand and all of its active locations at once, so you only need to claim it one time even if you have several. Farmer's markets can't be claimed yet.

How does claiming work?

Find your listing and click β€œClaim this business.” You'll need to be signed in β€” if you don't have an account yet, you can create one on the spot and pick up right where you left off. Tell us your role at the business and anything that helps us verify it's really you, and we'll take it from there. A real person reviews every claim by hand, usually within a few business days.

What can I edit once I'm approved?

Your description, website, social links, hours, phone number, photos, and specials. Restaurants can also upload a menu PDF; producers can list their crops or products with pricing and set their seasonal hours. A few things stay admin-only β€” your name, address, and category/tag details β€” since those drive search and the map for every visitor, not just your own listing. If any of those need a correction, reach us on the Contact page.

Do my changes need approval first?

No β€” edits go live immediately, so a hours change on a Tuesday doesn't sit in a queue until next week. Every change is logged and reviewed afterward, so it's not a black box, just not a bottleneck.

What about events I create?

Events you add show up on your own listing right away, but they don't appear on the sitewide Events calendar until we've reviewed and approved them.

My listing shows as already claimed, or the details are wrong

If a listing was claimed by someone who no longer owns or manages the business β€” or if the address or other basic details need fixing β€” let us know on the Contact page and we'll sort it out.

What will a Featured Listing include?

Featured Listings will give businesses additional visibility on the site. Pricing and details coming soon.
